Formed in 1993, St Mawes Sea Angling Club (SSAC) is open to all. Now in its 30th year, the club is dedicated to both "shore" as well as "boat" fishing, but you don't need to own a boat to join in.
SSAC is affiliated to the CFSA (Cornish Federation Sea Anglers), and the club runs competitions through out the year. The competitions are designed to be "catch, weigh then release and finally record...", the minimum catch sizes are published by the CFSA.
There are both Junior as well as Senior sections and the club is open to all with very modest membership fees from as little as a £2 for junior members. All members receive discounts on Fishing Tackle so the membership fee virtually pays for it self.
Club members have previously caught County and indeed UK record weight fish so there are many reasons to join and enter one of our competitions through the year.
The club meets four times a year and the meetings are held at the Bohella Bar on the last Wednesday evening of the quarter month starting at 19.45pm. Why not come along and join in ? The dates of these meetings can be seen on the club calendar pages of this web site.
